I Like His Style

Oh how I love that Thom Filicia, he has such a great sense of STYLE and eye for putting the oddest things together and making it look FAB. I was at the Americans Mart today for The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market 2010. The market was abuzz with new showrooms,seminars and buyers looking for the hottest trends for 2010, I must say I was surprised. I saw more people buying which means (I hope) that the recession might be turning around for business owners. But back to why I love Thom, his seminar was such a breath of fresh air to hear today. He spoke about how I view each project when it comes to how I design my clients homes and businesses. Know what will inspire you to take each room and make it belong to the homeowner, take something anything that may mean a lot to the client and bring life to their homes with it. He gave ideas on how to view different steps of the project to give you the right formula and make a beautiful space. Geographical Location,Moods,Architecture and Historical References, these are just a few of the things that gave him inspiration  on every project thus far he has done. I really enjoyed meeting  him and getting my book signed by one of the FAB FIVE!
